Hey Rui,

Thanks for coming back around to my page!

Here's the thing on creatine..

It's better to take your creatine about 20-40 minutes after your workout. And, if you take creatine, you have to make sure you are hydrated and drink plenty of water. Much more than you usually do. Many people love using creatine and it helps improve their workouts. You just have to be careful!

Hey Russell,

As I told you before I love your site and your articles. Always with great information and great advices. Great one on the supplements!

Do you consider taking creatine separately from the pre workout?

Cheers!

Great list, I bring most of these every time I'm at the gym as well. I recently heard that while having post workout protein is important, it may be better to wait 1 to 2 hours before consuming in order to take advantage of the natural HGH production you have post workout. Have you heard of this and/or have any thoughts?

In reply to <a href="https://www.thesmartconsumer.com/gym-bag-items#comment-2267">Tim</a>.

Tim,

Honestly the best thing you can do is to just ignore them and keep doing what you're doing. Most likely, you're stronger than them anyways. People like this just have low self-esteem. If it really bothers you, you could just wear them on the lifts that require great grip strength such as pull-ups.

Hope this helps!

Regarding workout gloves.... how do you fend off the haters that make fun of you when you wear them? I've noticed some people can be extremely rude to people who wear them and often it is very discouraging. I'm glad found someone who isn't like this!
